Coronavirus has now hit Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi’s family as well. As many as three members of Charanjit Singh Channi’s family have been tested positive for coronavirus.
Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has now isolated himself. Also, his political rallies have been cancelled.
His wife and son have been tested positive for coronavirus. Charanjit Singh Channi’s samples have also been taken for coronavirus testing. However, his reports are awaited.
It is to be noted that he last addressed a rally in Machiwara on Thursday. He was seen addressing the rally without any mask. Also, around 4,000 people were seen at the rally site. No precautionary measures were taken.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was also tested positive for coronavirus a few days ago. He gave the information through his Twitter handle. It is to be noted that he had also been a frequent visitor to the pol-bound state of Punjab.
