A resident of Bhamian Kalan area of Ludhiana allegedly shared explicit pictures of his wife over social media out of rage. The victim’s mother filed a complaint at Jamalpur Police Station against the accused Mohammad Raj.
According to the complainant, her daughter was in love with Mohammad and both of them married. She alleged that Mohammad used to threaten his wife that he would share her explicit pictures over social media. As the wife was upset and angered with him, she left her in-laws and came to her mother.
“Out of rage, Mohammad shared my daughter’s explicit pictures on WhatsApp and many of her relatives also saw all of them,” the complainant said. A case has been registered under section 67-A of the IT Act. Further investigation is underway.
