The farmers under the banner of Sanyukt Kisan Morcha have once again gathered, protesting in support of their demands. Hundreds of farmers have gathered near Gurudwara Amb Sahib in Mohali.
The leaders of the farmers’ unions have addressed the farmers from Punjab and Haryana, who have gathered in Mohali. They reportedly said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had promised to make a committee to hold talks with the farmers when the three farm laws were repealed.
Further, they said that the main issues include minimum support price and the river waters. The reports suggest that some delegations from the farmers’ union have also submitted their memorandum to the Governor of Punjab, Banwari Lal Purohit.
