Jalalabad, September 16
A motorcycle rider lost his life on Wednesday, September 16, as the fuel tank of the vehicle burst. The incident took place in Jalalabad near PNB Chowk late at night.
The victim has been identified as Balwinder Singh, a resident of Jhuge Nihanga Singh (23). Because of the blast, he was badly burnt and was immediately taken to Guru Gobind Singh Medical College Hospital in Faridkot. However, he could not be saved.
Keeping in mind the arrest of terrorists in Amritsar, this case is being investigated. DSP Palwinder Singh reportedly said that Balwinder Singh was going to meet his relatives. Another motorcycle was found from the spot that belonged to the victim’s cousin.
The eyewitnesses have said that the fuel tank of the motorcycle suddenly burst and it caught fire. It spread so rapidly that the victim did not get any chance to save himself. The body of the deceased was sent for post-mortem.
