Comedian Bharti Singh has found herself in controversy after her alleged comment on beard and moustache. Yesterday, an FIR was registered against her on the complaint of the Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee.
The other complaint was filed against Bharti Singh in Jalandhar by Ravidas Tiger Force Chief Jassi Tallan. An FIR has been registered against comedian Bharti Singh for allegedly mocking men with beards.
Under section 295-A (hurting religious sentiments), the FIR has been registered. As per the reports, in an old video that went viral, Bharti Singh mocked the men having beard. After facing backlash from several Sikh leaders, Bharti Singh also apologized through a video message.
