Ludhiana, September 25
An unidentified body of a woman was recovered near Partapura Sabji Mandi at Hambaran Road on Saturday. Because of that, the situation was tense and panic erupted in the people living in the vicinity.
The sources inform there are marks of sharp knives on the head of the deceased and the body was yet to be identified.
A commuter nearby said that the deceased was wearing gold ornaments. When the people of the area got to know about the dead body in the morning, they informed the police.
After receiving the information, ACP Talwinder Singh and a police team from PAU Police Station reached the spot. The body has been seized and further investigation is underway.
