A school teacher raped one of his minor students in Ludhiana. A complaint has been registered with the Police Station Division No. 6 in which it has been alleged that the accused teacher used to chat with the girl multiple times over WhatsApp. Also, he used to take her to a hotel several times to make a physical relationship with her.
According to the complaint, the 17-year-old victim used to study in Senior Secondary School Millerganj. Her Civil Engineering teacher was molesting her. He first started having a conversation with her over WhatsApp and then he took her to a hotel several times.
The police have started investigating the matter and registered a case against Dinesh Kumar, a resident of Batala Road, Amritsar. Under sections 376 of IPC and section 4 of the POCSO Act, the case has been registered. Investigating officer Gurjeet Singh has said that the girl’s family has demanded strict action against the teacher from the Punjab Government.
