One more person from Ludhiana has been tested positive for coronavirus. Now, there are 26 active patients in the district at present.
Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma said that sincere efforts are being made to keep people safe from Covid-19. He said that a total of 3 patients, 1 from Ludhiana and 2 from other states and districts have tested positive for the virus on Friday.
Further, he informed that a total of 24,19,826 samples have been received, of which 23,20,637 samples were found negative. The total number of patients related to Ludhiana is 87,517, while 11,672 patients belong to other districts and states.
He said that the total number of persons who lost because of covid has reached 2,100 in Ludhiana and 1,049 from other districts have tested positive. 8,055 samples of suspected patients were sent for testing on Friday.
