Model Code of Conduct is in force in Punjab as the Assembly Elections have been scheduled for February 14.
However, another incident of sacrilege has been reported from Ludhiana amid the political uproar. The incident reportedly happened in Basant Nagar area under Daba police station in Ludhiana. Some torn pages of Sri Gutka Sahib near Reru Sahib Gurdwara have reportedly been recovered.
According to the information, the sewadars at Gurudwara recovered the torn pages of Sri Gutka Sahib. Immediately, the sewadars informed the police. Later, ADGP with his police force reached the spot and further investigation of the case is underway.
