Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma informed that there are 29 active patients in the district at present. On Wednesday, September 15, no new case was recorded.
Till date, a total of 24,02,423 samples have been taken, of which 23,03,241 samples were found negative. The total number of patients related to Ludhiana is 87,512, while 11,670 patients belong to other states and districts.
Till now, a total of 2,099 people from Ludhiana and 1049 from other districts have lost their lives due to coronavirus. A total of 9,368 samples of suspected patients were sent for testing on September 15.
